A risk assessment was conducted on the hazard factors
from the plastic toys in use in this paper. Both methods of FMEA and
FTA were used to identify the hazard factors from the plastic toys in
use.. Delphi method was employed to investigate occurring
probability and severity of all the hazard factors, for which further
risk assessment on all the hazard factors was made according to the
risk matrix. A structural equation model was adopted to verify the
identified hazard factors. The conclusion reveals that, among the
hazard factors, the Max relative. VaR is 0.90, the Min. Relative. VaR
is 0.79, and both risk grades are medium, for which measures shall
be taken to prevent from or reduce the risks during usage. |
