This paper begins with an introduction of the developments of e-commerce, the high attention from international organizations to e-commerce and TC/SC relative with e-commerce in ISO. Then it analyzes the standardization requirement of international e-commerce, and the relationship between the proposal and the relative TC/SC in ISO. Based on the research together with France, China and France proposed the proposal for a new field of technical activity transaction assurance in e-commerce, which has been submitted to ISO/CS for ballot and has been approved by ISO full members and ISO/TMB members, and then ISO/TC 321 is established accordingly. |
